The Lacotel restaurant in Avenches, near Morat and Payerne, will concoct for you a unique cuisine in the region. Our stale beef on the bone will surely make you discover new flavours. I Love Bidoche !
We are one of the true specialists in Dry Aged beef. Our bone-in meat continues its maturing process in our company. Hérens, Limousin, Aubrac, Pure Simmental, Black Angus… we select the best pieces of meat from our artisan butchers. A normal maturation period for meat in trays is 21 days.
With us…at least three times that! Because here, meat is our daily bread… I love Bidoche!

Specialities from Vully from the Simonet family, from the Petit Château cellar, or from the Tonnelier cellar in Vallamand, our sommeliers will help you discover the wines of the region. Also recently added to our menu is the cellar of the Château de Praz. A selection of Spanish and Italian wines. Electus, Eclat, Super Toscan and many other bottles are hidden in our cellar! And in addition, a dozen proposals of wines by the glass for you to taste.
